Happy New Year to all my blogger friends! I enjoy reading your posts and your visits to mine. Thank you for your support. I am in the comfortable habit of reading blogs late at night while I am sipping a cup of tea; it’s my time to relax and venture into your world of words.
Keep on writing, and best wishes for a positive year!

Me too! And have a Happy New Year!!!
Thanks, Marie. This is the third time I’ve seen the Gratitude Jar suggestion this week . . . so we just started one! No time like the PRESENT.
I dropped my first note into it, dated 12/31/12.
Here’s to happy endings and bright beginnings. Cheers!
Wonderful you started one! I am going to start one in a few minutes.
Good idea! Should try that this year. Happy New Year!
I like the idea because if keeps one focused on the positives and not only on the negatives. Happy New Year!
Marie,
The gratitude jar is a great idea. And for me the first slip of paper would note the wondrous and supportive connections I’ve made in this blogging community- all the great and kind writers, poets, artists.
We are each blessed truly.
Wishing you a wondrous New Year.
Tom
Tom, I had goosies when I read your comments because I too feel this way. I am very grateful for the connections I have made in this community. Wishing you a wonderful New Year!
Marie, I had been thinking about creating a gratitude jar…and your post encouraged and inspired me to do so. Sooooo…..we now have a pretty glass gratitude jar, with a delicate little glass swan in the middle of the jar, with pretty little blank papers, with “notice, appreciate, so thankful” on one side of each little paper, ready to be written on and added to the jar. (well, I just added the first paper…pretty indeed… : ) )
Saw your email and was encouraged to find a jar too! It’s very pretty.
I found a stained glass jar which I washed and dusted off.
That’s a brilliant idea, Marie! Thank you for suggesting that. Many blessings and much love to you..

Thank you, Marie. Many blessings and much love to you.

What an amazing idea!! I think this is easier to keep up than a gratitude journal. I’ll go find a jar for myself today…
Fantastic! My jar already has few gratitude notes, and it feels good.
