The health benefits of raw foods are for both both men and women. I wrote this entry for a women’s health website I used to own and thought I would share here.
We are what we eat. This was impressed upon me when I watched the Raw Food video I am sharing. According to the βDoctrine of Whole Food Signatures,β every whole food has a pattern based on its shape and configuration and each whole food has a design that resembles a body organ or physiological function in the formerβs natural shape or when sliced.
I am sharing a few intriguing and yummy examples from the video that benefits women in general:
Walnuts – “A walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper and lower cerebrum.” Walnuts in moderation have clinically proven excellent anti-aging effects on the brain. I eat a handful almost everyday.
Avocados – “Avocados target the health of the womb and cervix of the female. They look just like these organs.” One avocado a week balances hormones. This is good news, as once a week for me is enough as they are high in calories, yet when I want to lose weight, a small avocado doesn’t interfere with my diet.
Olives – “Olives assist in the function and health of the ovaries.” A good reason for adding them to your salads or munching on them as snacks!
Watch the video and be amazed and encouraged to add these foods consistently to your diet.
Nature as always can be a source of health and nurturing!

Wonderful video, Marie. Today, I had raw celery, raw carrots, and raw apple. Yesterday a salad with all the above, plus raisins and nuts.
Eating real food makes me feel real good. π

Nancy, Glad you enjoyed the video. Your salad sounds yummy! I love the mixture of raisens and nuts. I eat almonds, walnuts and blueberries almost every day. I am going to pick up more raw food from the store tommorrow and make myself a salad like yours. π

Yes, all the raw food will absolutely benefit you. I love walnuts because they are good for the brain; if we have a healthy brain we have healthier emotions and body. Olive oil is good for lowering cholesterol so it’s heart friendly. π

this is a very informative piece, I can not bring myself to eat an avocado fruit unless its pudding or juice form, just hope it brings the same benefits π

Veeh, I enjoy avocados but can’t stand mushrooms in any form. π And I would think you should get almost the same benefits, although raw would have more nutrients that are not lost with cooking.
