Speaking Through Images of Children

I have a collection of quotes with photos of children that I wanted to share.

I love images combined with words, as they often have an impact on one’s mind and heart. If the information is not reaching the mind, it may reach the heart via images or the images can speak to the mind.

The following collection are one of my favorites as the images of children are pure, full of innocence, and does not conflict with the message (well, at least to my eyes).

When Steve Jobs was alive and well, I didn’t pay attention to the side of him that was filled with obvious wisdom.  I am sharing a few of his thoughts on death, money, motivation and focus. The quotes on death are my favorite ones, and an important reminder for us all.

“Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure — these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.” — Steve Jobs.

“I didn’t see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.”
