Welcome

“Love is misunderstood to be an emotion; actually, it is a state of awareness, a way of being in the world, a way of seeing oneself and others.”  – Dr. David R. Hawkins

Welcome to “Dance With Truth – Love Is The Answer!”

I made a resolve a while back to live my life doing what I love to do the best – which is to contribute to my world by focusing on what is uplifting and above all to be love.

Most of us would think, that being love means being saccharine and sweet at all times, but, love as Dr. Hawkins reminds us,  is not just an emotion –  it’s a way of living one’s life. If this love directs one, to say “no”, or “yes” to opportunity, to let go of what no longer works  in order to honor ourselves, we are being self-loving.

When we come from a place of self-love, we are in essence making the highest contribution energetically to not only ourselves and those close to us, but to the world. When we are self-loving we feel better, have less inner tension and this in turn allows us to express ourselves without the usual mental conflicts that often gets reflected as egoic drama out into the world.

This space will be a continuing journey of sharing thoughts from our spiritual teachers, my own musings and experiences, videos, anything that will  uplift and open the heart and increase our awareness.

I am at the point of my journey where I have let go of many popular ideas of what reality, God/ess is and have simplified my life to the point that all that matters to me is not dogma, but to live  in the words of the Dalai Lama and of Dr. David Hawkins:

There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples; my philosophy is kindness.” -Dalai Lama

Be passionate for God, not for belief systems. That is the only real decision that has to be made and can be applied to any and all situations. The question is always whether to be at the effect of the world or aligned with the Truth of God instead. The search for enlightenment is different from that of seeking worldly success” – Dr. David R. Hawkins

In essence my focus keeps me open without the divisiveness of who holds the Truth or staying stuck in belief systems.

Namaste, Marie

  2. I like what the Dalai Lama has said about the heart and brain being temples, very true I would like to increase my awareness and reach a high state of enlightenment, and your blog seems to have just the words to aid in this journey.

  3. To dance with truth is a delightful way to live life. I can imagine myself twirling in the midst of rainbow colored lessons, sweet smelling triumphs when we overcome our fears and negativity, and painting a colorful garden of dreams and hopes as we share our lives with each other. And through it all, we recognize our oneness, our divinity and capacity to live loving, meaningful and abundant lives. I love this website Marie! I will come back often to be inspired and be uplifted and to always remember that indeed love is the answer!

    Blessings, love and light.

  4. Oooh, I love the visuals of twirling in rainbow colored lessons, no wonder you are a perfomer and teacher. 🙂 My life has become a dance with Truth. I truly believe I was led out of the city to live in a semi rural town to be able to focus on my spirituality and then reach out to others through different mediums… Thanks for the wonderful visit, what a pleasant surprise! Love and light~

  5. Thank you sufilight. Love transmutes everything it touches. As you say,”When we come from a place of self-love, we are in essence making the highest contribution energetically to not only ourselves and those close to us, but to the world.” When we are able to love ourselves our love can radiate from within, transmuting everything that love touches. Cyrus

    • Hi Cyrus, Yes, that high love energy within transmutes everything it touches, often bringing healing. Love is all there is.

Thanks for adding your comments. 🙂

      Namaste,
      Marie

  6. Thank you for being you. I’m adding you to my blogroll. Namaste, Cyrus

  7. Thank you, Cyrus! I have to add a blogroll to my blog- I am new around here and was thinking of doing that tonight. Will add yours as well as soon as soon as I figure how the blogroll works.

  8. That really struck home with the qoute about love not being an emotion, but a state of awaresness……really great.

I guess love feels like an emotion when it is an egoic love, that it says I love you cause I am getting something from you or it..

However true love is the Light filling our vessel and enlightening our darkness so that we become more aware.

    =)

    • Jason, you are one of the few that gets this quote as I have shared it in Facebook as well. 🙂 I too was moved by this quote as Love is not only an egoic sentiment but Life Itself.

      • One day I know we will all communicate from that awareness. Behind that ego is our Unity. The world will be change one heart at a time. I am happy we could make a connection.

  9. Spoken like a true Sufi-the dancing, whirling truths.

  14. I absolutly resonate with your blog Marie and I love how you chose dancing with Truth as you theme for your blog. Indeed, Truth is the highest vibration possible and as you may know it is also one of the names of God in the Sufi tradition ( I am also from the Sufi tradition).I personaly am passionate of Truth ( AKA God) and Love is an expression of Truth. I found an appropriate quote of another great spiritual teacher in that regards : “Eventually, you will come to understand that love heals everything, and love is all there is.” ~ Gary Zukav
Salaam ( Divine Peace in Arabic) and Namaste

    • Hi Idil, Thank you so much for your kind comments and visit! I am passionate about Truth, and waking up. The more we progress spiritually the better for the world’s consciousness. I love Gary Zukav have his books and the quote you shared is one of my favorite ones because it’s a truth. 🙂 Namaste ~

  15. Hello Marie. I just wanted to let you know I have removed the requested post from my blog, “Buddhist Prayer of Forgiveness.” My email is usually to the right of my blog, but this must have disappeared when I changed my blog layout, so I would not have known, had you not told me. Best wishes for the future and I am following this blog. 🙂
